We are a wellness studio looking for talented, part-time Licensed Massage Therapists that are looking to build their business as we grow our Massage Therapy offerings. Seeking responsible therapists who are not only highly skilled in technical ability, but also demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, cleanliness, excellent communication skills, are excited to grow with us and have a strong desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives.

IDEAL CANDIDATES

Massage therapists have a primary responsibility to nurture and take care of their clients. This includes greeting them, attending to any immediate needs they may have, escorting them to/from their treatment room, and show compassion and care for clients so they feel seen, heard and taken care of.

Specifically, you are:

•Passionate about your ability to make people feel better.

•A team player with a high level of commitment to our company vision and values.

•Responsible and routine-oriented.

•Knowledgeable on multiple modalities including not limited to Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage.

•Customer Service-oriented and able to communicate clearly with guests, management and staff.

•Feel comfortable educating guests on the benefits of treatment and how to continue the experience upon their departure. Recommend and sell related in-house retail products to guests.

•Comfortable performing small tasks at the request of Reception Desk if not performing massages (filing, making tea, cleaning yoga mats, etc).

•Take care of your professional appearance and reputation.

Qualifications:

•Currently licensed to practice massage therapy by the State of New Jersey.

•Have or ability to attain liability insurance once employed.

•Able to work 4-hour shifts on weekends and one weekday evening.

•Able to perform 60 and 90-minute massages with an emphasis to start and end massages on time.

•Able to perform a maximum of four treatments per shift.

•Knowledge/experience of Reflexology, Thai Yoga, pre-natal and other massage modalities a plus.

•1-3 years previous experience in a private practice, doctor’s office, or chiropractor’s office.

•Ability to communicate clearly. Spanish or Hindi fluency a plus.

•Ability to write clearly and legibly. Ability to take detailed client notes.

•Certified in Basic First Aid and CPR.

•Be able to pass a background check.

Compensation:
Salary is starting at $30/hour based on experience for a 1 hour massage plus tips. Once on the clock, you will get an hourly rate whether we have patients or not.
