It’s almost Labor Day, folks, and temperatures in Jersey City will soon be dropping! Are you ready to pull out your fall sweaters and skinny jeans? Here’s a guilt-free end of the summer frozen indulgence. This recipe is by one of our Yoga in the Heights community members and teacher, Jessica Howse!
Chocolate-Banana Vegan Pudding Pops
There’s nothing like a cool treat on a hot, summer day, which is why these chocolate-banana pudding pops are great for August. Simply mix and freeze the ingredients to get your chocolate fix. You’d never know it, but these sweet, creamy pops are vegan and sugar-free. Who says you have to sacrifice taste for healthful eating?
½ pound silken tofu
1–2 overripe bananas
¼ cup rice or almond milk
2 tablespoons cocoa
5–10 drops vanilla crème liquid stevia
Combine ingredients in a food processor and mix until creamy. Divide mixture among the pop molds (or paper cups) and freeze.
